We’re closing out the week with the top hires, promotions and appointments at agencies around the world.

62Above made two new hires to bolster its creative department. Kristen Sugihara joined as senior art director and Nic Orangio joined as copywriter.

Adswerve appointed Roger Berdusco as its new CEO. Berdusco brings experience from senior marketing leadership roles at brands including PepsiCo and Conagra Brands.

Aspire 

Aspire brought on two new executives to strengthen its leadership team. Sterling Jackson joined as vice president of marketing and Arkady Zapesotsky as vice president of customer success.

Azerion

Azerion made a series of new hires to support its continued rapid growth. Nicola Webb joined as U.K. sales director, Eva Starosolsky as senior research executive, Pauline Yoo as account director, Sophie Heaphy and Phoebe Madedega as account managers, Annie Port as account executive and Petre Coman as sales account executive.

Butler/Till

Butler/Till has promoted Amanda DeVito to be its first chief marketing officer. DeVito’s role will focus on continuing to develop the agency as the destination for top talent, clients and partners.

Callen

Amy Kommatas joined Callen as its new head of production. With over 20 years of production experience, Kommatas has received multiple industry awards from work with clients like Mother and Squarespace.

Cheil U.K.

Cheil U.K. made a series of new senior leadership hires to position itself for growth in 2023. Lynsey Stewart joined as managing director, Anna Watkins as head of marketing and business development and Neil Noronha as business lead.

Ciena

Ciena made a series of appointments to its executive leadership team. David Rothenstein was appointed as senior vice president chief strategy officer, Sheela Kosaraju as senior vice president and general counsel, Joe Cumello as senior vice president and general manager of Blue Planet Software and Rebecca Smith as senior vice president, global marketing and communications.

Huge

IPG appointed Urvashi Shivdasani as global chief financial officer at Huge. Urvashi will oversee the company’s commercial strategy and lead accounting, financial planning and analysis, real estate, commercial finance and information technology teams at Huge.

Interpublic Group

Jeriad Zoghby joined Interpublic Group as its chief commerce strategy officer. Zoghby will oversee commerce strategy for the company.

Jack Morton

Jack Morton welcomed two leaders to its global C-suite as it prepares for growth in 2023. Sharon Crichton was appointed chief operating officer and Natalie Ackerman was named chief people officer.

Leo Burnett Chicago

Leo Burnett Chicago brought on Mariana O’Kelly as its new executive vice president, executive creative director. O’Kelly will lead a team of 25 creatives and run the entire Kellogg’s portfolio for the agency.

Lexer

Lexer brought on Aparna Gray as its new vice president of marketing. Coming from her previous role as head of marketing for APAC at Dotdigital, Gray brings more than 20 years of experience in marketing, public relations and communications.

Link Agency

Link Agency welcomed Frederico Lopes as its new chief operating officer. Lopes will be responsible for ensuring the agency is running seamlessly, debottlenecking execution processes and empowering the team to focus on delivering value to clients.

Little & Company

Joe Cecere is the new owner of Minneapolis-based design-led brand agency Little & Company. The original owner, Monica Little, sold the company to Cecere after he served as co-owner and leader for over 20 years.

Los York Films

Los York Films signed Sharon Chetrit to its roster for representation. Chetrit was previously the in-house creative director and writer/director at Artlist.

Missing pieces

Missing pieces signed Isaac Ravishankara to its roster for U.S. commercial representation. Ravishankara is an Indian-American director of commercials, short films and music videos, and has worked on national campaigns for brands like Adidas and Converse, as well as music videos for artists like The Lumineers and Hozier.

M&C Saatchi

M&C Saatchi London promoted Christi Tronetti to head of growth. The promotion follows a number of recent new business wins and aims to supercharge its new business and marketing capabilities.

Marcus Thomas

Mark Moll joined Marcus Thomas as its new executive creative director. Moll’s work has been honored at Cannes, Clios, D&AD and Addys.

McGarrah Jessee

Laura Busino was appointed head of production at McGarrah Jessee. Busino is coming from Ford Motor Company, where she served as head of content production.

Pearlfisher

Pearlfisher promoted Elizabeth Eidshaug to executive director of brand and business growth. Eidshaug will be responsible for creating and executing on growth strategy.

Reach Agency

Reach Agency hired Sara Joy Madsen as its new vice president of client services. Madsen will lead the accounts team to deliver high quality client service to the agency’s portfolio of clients.

RSA Films

RSA Films signed James Morosini to its roster for representation in commercials and branded content in the U.S. Morosini is a multi-hyphenate talent who wrote, directed and starred in 2022 indie hit “I Love My Dad.”

ScienceMagic.Studios

ScienceMagic.Studios made several new appointments to complete its executive team. Jack Spallone joined as vice president for product, Anastasia Almakaeva as vice president of client strategy and Sian Morson as vice president of community.

Songtradr

Songtradr hired Amber Morris as its global account director for TikTok. Morris brings over 11 years of experience building and managing relationships with agencies, brands, media companies and production studios.

Stagwell

Jason Brandt was appointed managing partner, commercial for Stagwell Technologies, Stagwell’s enterprise growth division. Brandt brings over 30 years of experience, with past roles at WPP and Grey Group.

Helen Lafford is also joining Stagwell as senior vice president, chief growth officer for the U.K. Lafford will lead international growth for the network, spearheading cross-agency new business development in the region.

The Distillery Project

The Distillery Project welcomed Vanessa Fortier as its creative director. Fortier brings experience building major brands with 360 cross-channel implementation, and has received numerous industry awards.

Two by Four

Industry vet Tim Mauery joined Two by Four as its director of client relationships. Mauery will focus on developing strategy to foster deep client relationships.

Untitled Films

Untitled Films signed Amar Chebib for Canadian representation. Chebib is Syrian-Canadian filmmaker who has worked with brands like Beats by Dre, Casper and Bank of America.

VSA Partners

VSA Partners hired Thaddeus Ternes as vice president of technology. Ternes will focus on expanding the firm’s technical capabilities and  working with emerging technologies like extended reality, connected devices and ambient computing.

Weber Shandwick

Weber Shandwick hired Jackie Cox Battles as its New York consumer brand practice lead as well as North America consumer brand practice growth lead. Cox Battles joins from her previous role leading the east consumer practice at Zeno Group.

Whalar

Whalar promoted Ashley Rudder to global chief creator officer. Rudder originally joined Whalar in 2021 after 20 years at MAC Cosmetics.

Wild Gift

Wild Gift signed Rylee Jean Ebsen to its roster for commercial representation. Jean Ebsen is a Telly-award winning comedy director and writer, as well as a 2020 Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree.
