Two years ago, Jonathan Swan was in Australia, a national political reporter for the Sydney Morning Herald. In 2014 he arrived in Washington as one of the American Political Science Association’s Congressional fellows for 2014-15, participating in a program that allows fellows to deepen their knowledge of policy and the legislative branch by embedding with a Congressional staff. For Swan, it was with the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
Washington is where this Australian will continue to stay, hired by The Hill as a staff/campaign reporter to cover money in politics, a new beat for The Hill.
