CNBC Names Digital Exec Editor

Jay Yarow joins from Business Insider.

CNBC has named Jay Yarow executive editor for CNBC Digital. Yarow comes to CNBC from Business Insider, where he has worked since 2007. He most recently served as BI’s executive editor.

“Jay will be responsible for setting the editorial direction for all of CNBC Digital’s products and services,” wrote CNBC chairman Mark Hoffman, in a memo to staffers. “He will also work closely with Nik Deogun, senior vice president and editor in chief of CNBC Business News, to further strengthen our integrated newsroom and deepen our cross-platform culture.”
