Gawker Names New Top Editors

A shuffling of the deck.

Now that several Gawker staffers have left because of a bloated sense of self and misplaced moral righteousness, the site has named new top editors.

John Cook has replaced Tommy Craggs as executive editor; though on a temporary basis. Cook will sit on a committee that will hire a permanent exec editor and a new editor in chief. Leah Beckmann has succeeded Max Read as editor in chief for now. Hamilton Nolan has been bumped up to deputy editor to fill the vacancy left by Beckmann.
