James Marcus Named Editor of Harper's

The Harper's vet moves up.

mini_headshot_jm_400x400Harper’s has named James Marcus its new editor. He most recently served as the magazine’s executive editor.

Marcus joined Harper’s in 2010 as deputy editor. He was named executive editor in 2013. Before joining Harper’s Marcus served as an editor at large for the Columbia Journalism Review.

Marcus succeeds Christopher Cox, who was fired by Harper’s in February.
