Katie Drummond has been named editor in chief of Gawker Media’s tech site, Gizmodo. Drummond most recently served as deputy editor for Bloomberg.com.
Drummond previously worked as assistant managing editor for The Verge and a reporter for Wired and the now-shuttered The Daily.
Drummond is succeeding Annalee Newitz, who announced she was joining Ars Technica this morning.
