Melissa Bell Named Publisher of Vox Media

The Vox co-founder gets a new role.

Vox Media has named Melissa Bell publisher. Bell most recently served as vp of growth and analytics and was a co-founder of Vox.com.

Bell joined Vox in 2014 from The Washington Post.

“We thought about the publisher title, and in different industries and at different times, it’s meant different things,” Jim Bankoff, CEO of Vox Media, told The New York Times. “Melissa’s job is going to be focused on continuing to grow our brands.”
