Peter Stevenson has been named deputy editor of Men’s Journal. Stevenson was most recently an editorial consultant for New Republic.
Prior to his time with NR, Stevenson served as Condé Nast Traveler’s features editor for just under two years.
Stevenson is most well known for his 15 years with The Observer (formerly New York Observer). He served as the papers’s executive editor and, as Politico points out, was behind the popular “Sex and The City” column by Candace Bushnell.
