The New York Daily News has received bids from John Catsimatidis and Jimmy Finkelstein, but neither appear to be the frontrunner. The New York Post reports that Daily News boss Mort Zuckerman is negotiating to sell the paper to a third, unknown party.
This person is currently taking to the Daily News’ unions to see if they’d be willing to make any concessions. The talks between Zuckerman and the unknown party are expected to conclude in just a few weeks.
