WSJ Names Business Editor

A new role for Journal vet Jason Anders.

Wall Street Journal veteran Jason Anders has been named business editor of the paper. Anders had served as deputy editor, page one, since 2011. He joined the Journal in 1998.

“The move to the corporate desk is a return of sorts for Jason,” wrote Journal editor Gerard Baker, in a memo to staffers. “He was instrumental in building the desk when the print and online newsrooms merged in 2008 and worked to hone our real-time approach.
