Clubhouse is introducing two key changes to clubs on its platform: Eliminating followers and creating a single relationship to clubs, membership; and creating a new role, leaders, to smooth the process for administrators.

The social audio application said in a blog post introducing the updates, “These updates are based on a lot of feedback we’ve received from top club admins, so we think you’ll like them, but we wanted to give you all a chance to preview the changes before they go live to make sure we’re not breaking anything important.”
