After a subpar performance on Easter Sunday, CBS’ Face the Nation regained the No. 1 spot in total viewers. By delivering four million total viewers, the Sunday morning public affairs show improved by +16 percent week-to-week and +28 percent year-over-year.
Despite the strong delivery in total viewers, Face the Nation was down -4.3 percent in adults 25-54 from the comparable Sunday in 2015 (981,000).
Meet the Press finished No. 1 among adults 25-54 yet again, delivering 1.1 million viewers in the key demographic. MTP dropped -2 percent in the demo from the previous week, but was up +37 percent year-over-year (804,000 adults 25-54 on 4/5/2015).
MTP has now averaged more than one million viewers in the demo for 12 consecutive broadcasts – the longest streak among Sundays shows since MTP accomplished this between late 2010 and early 2011.
Meet the Press was down -1.5 percent in total viewers from the previous Sunday, but up +46 percent from the comparable Sunday in 2015.
This Week with George Stephanopoulos was down -10 percent in total viewers from the previous week, but up +20 in total viewers from the comparable Sunday in 2015.

With Chris Wallace back in the saddle, Fox News Sunday delivered 1,644,000 in total viewers and 512,000 in the key news demo. The broadcast was even in total viewership with the previous Sunday, but up +41 percent from the comparable Sunday in 2015 (1,170,000). The 512,000 total in the demo was an -8 percent drop week-to-week, but a +57 percent improvement from the comparable Sunday in 2015. FNS added a combined 2,492,000 total viewers and 569,000 adults 25-54 for the replays on Fox News Channel.
Combining the original telecast on Broadcast with the cable replays, Fox News Sunday brought in 4,136,000 total viewers and 1,081,000 adults 25-54 on April 3.
The Jorge Ramos-hosted Al Punto maintained its adults 25-54 audience from the previous Sunday (318,000), and was up +16 percent versus the comparable Sunday in 2015.
