Denise White announced her retirement from WTVT last night.

White has worked at the Tampa Fox-owned station for more than 25 of her 40 years in the business. She said the day before Thanksgiving would be her last day.

“I’ve had the privilege of being welcomed into your homes all these years at noon and five to bring you the important events of the day,” White told viewers on-air. “I hope I’ve done it with credibility and professionalism.”
