Pat Costello is the new KOMO news director.
FTVLive first mentioned the possible move from Phoenix ABC affiliate KNXV to the Seattle ABC affiliate.
Costello started at KNXV in 2012. He told TVSpy he’ll stay at KNXV through the Super Bowl, then start at KOMO February 9.

He replaces Holly Gauntt who left KOMO in October to be news director at KDVR-KWGN in Denver. He’s worked in Seattle before, serving as VP and station manager of KING-KONG and Northwest Cable News.
