Joseph E. Denk has been named VP and GM of Nexstar’s WATN-WLMT-WJKT.
Denk will oversee the Memphis ABC and CW affiliate and Jackson FOX affiliate. He’ll also head up the stations digital properties.
In 2011, Denk was named GM of Nexstar’s WFRV in Green Bay, Wisc. and WJMN in Marquette, Mich, where he’s credited with launching the news operation. From 2008 until 2011, he was GM of WQRF and, through a management services agreement, WTVO in Rockford, Illinois.
