KABB, the San Antonio FOX affiliate, has announced the addition of Ryan Wolf to its news team. Wolf previously worked as a senior reporter and evening anchor at CBS affiliate KGBT in Harlingen, Texas.
Wolf announced the news on Facebook today, writing:
I am both humbled and honored to be tapped by KGBT’S parent company to lead their evening newscast as anchor at KABB in San Antonio. It’s bittersweet to have to say goodbye to a station and community I love so much. I thank everyone in the RGV who allowed me into their homes for 12 amazing years!

We’ve reached out to KABB for a comment on Sinclair’s involvement in Wolf’s recruitment. We’ll update you when we hear back.
Wolf’s last day at KGBT is February 6.
