Spotify offers lots of different email and push notification options that can alert you about new music, playlist updates and more. Our guide will show you how to turn specific notifications on or off to suit your tastes.

Step 1: On the Spotify home screen, tap the gear icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap “Notifications.”
Step 3: Tap the toggle to the right of any notification type to turn it on or off. If the toggle is green, the notification option is currently turned on. If the toggle is black, the notification option is currently turned off.
