Univision Adds TikTok to Its Social Arsenal for Mira Quién Baila All Stars

The new season of the dance-competition show begins Sunday

Univision incorporated social video creation platform TikTok into its promotional efforts to back the new season of dance-competition show Mira Quién Baila All Stars.

Influencers and talent from MQB will post videos to TikTok to help fuel buzz and excitement for the new season, which starts Sunday (Jan. 12) at 8 p.m. ET.

TikTok joins a host of other social initiatives used by Univision to promote the show, the name of which translates to “Look Who’s Dancing.”

Dancer and choreographer Toni Costa, MQB’s mentor, brings fans into the dance studio during rehearsals on digital series MQB Ensayos (MQB Rehearsals), which will be available on the Mira Quién Baila Instagram account Friday mornings beginning Jan. 17.

MQB Estrellas (MQB Stars), which introduces fans to the celebrity cast, judges and guest stars, is available on all of the show’s social platforms Sunday evenings.

Univision is using Instagram Stories for Sin Filtro (No Filter), providing behind-the-scenes access to “the good, the bad and the ugly.” It returns Saturday, Jan. 18.

Costa will share tips on how the audience can spice up their dance moves in new digital series Baila Como Toni (Dance like Toni), which will debut on Instagram Sunday and then stream every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET.

Recap show MQB Extra returns to Instagram, Twitter and Facebook Sunday at 10 p.m. ET, hosted by backstage reporter Amara La Negra.

Mira Quién Baila All Stars is hosted by Chiquinquirá Delgado and Javier Poza, and this year’s judging panel includes: former Miss Universe and winner of MQB’s fifth season Dayanara Torres; creative director and professional dancer Casper Smart; and Mexican actress, professional dancer and singer Bianca Marroquín.

The show pits celebrities against each other to show off their best dance moves for philanthropic causes.
